nypl: We’re going to predate ourselves here for today’s Flashback Friday with this entry from our ancestor, the Astor Library. It would appear that a Mr. Charles Boland checked out Robinson Crusoe on February 12, 1868. We think this week’s Flashback Friday should be an interactive one… so we’re going to recommend you visit your local branch and check out your own copy of the Daniel Defoe classic, and then you too can re-enact history.
